The Intelligent and Quantum Secure Advanced Cyberdefense (IQSeC) Lab is seeking a motivated PhD student to conduct research at the intersection of quantum information science, cybersecurity, and machine learning.

The IQSeC Lab conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of cybersecurity, machine learning, and quantum information science. Its current work includes quantum machine learning for cyberdefense, trustworthy continual learning for malware and network defense, post-quantum cryptography, quantum key distribution, and quantum-secure communication.
The lab's research has appeared in leading security, AI, and quantum computing venues, including IEEE S&P, ACM CCS, PETS, ICLR, AAAI, IEEE TIFS, ACM TOPS, and IEEE Quantum Week. Its research has also contributed to open-source systems, large-scale security datasets and benchmarks, and U.S. patent applications related to quantum-secure communication.
